Hand-Painted Press-On Nails

Press-on nails painted by hand, one design at a time: butterflies, willow branches and fine gold linework you can see up close. Each set is made to order in our atelier, so the finish stays true to the artist's brush instead of a factory print. Choose a ready design or send a custom brief; samples, small batches and wholesale quantities are all welcome.

Hand-painted press-on nails, painted one set at a time

Hand-painted versus printed: what actually differs

A printed wrap reproduces one flat image across every nail. Hand-painting builds the design in layers — base, colour blocking, linework, foil or pearl work, then seal — and each layer is placed against the curve of that specific nail. The difference shows at the edges, in how a motif bends around the free edge, and in the fact that no two sets are identical.

That is also the honest limit of the category: hand-painting is not perfectly repeatable, and any supplier who promises pixel-identical repeat batches is either printing or guessing.

The design vocabulary you can order against

  • Florals and botanicals — plum blossom, willow, peony, butterfly. Painted, not decaled.
  • Line and goldwork — foil stems, champagne linework, fine metallic outlines.
  • Story sets — designs built around a reference (a painting, a piece of jewellery, a seasonal motif).
  • Custom artwork — your own artwork, translated to a plate by our designers.

Private label and custom artwork

Private label runs on the same bench as our own line: you supply artwork or a brief, our designers translate it to the shape you sell, and we sample before production. Palette is matched physically — on a painted sample under daylight — because screen colour lies, especially on deep reds and burgundies.

Consistency, lead time and minimums

Every design keeps a production sheet with its palette and brush sequence, so reorders hold their look. If exact repetition matters for your channel, say so and we assign a single artist to your line rather than rotating. Minimums apply per design; mixed orders spread them.

Questions buyers ask about this range

Hand-painted versus printed — what actually differs?
Printed wraps reproduce a flat image; hand-painting builds layers — base, colour blocking, linework, foil, then seal. You see it in edge detail, in how the design follows the nail curve, and in the fact that no two sets are pixel-identical.
Can you match a reference image?
We match the design language — palette, motifs, line weights — rather than copy a protected artwork. Colour matching is done on a physical sample before production, not on screen.
How consistent are repeat batches?
Each design keeps a production sheet with its palette and brush sequence, so repeat orders hold their look. Small variation between artists is inherent to hand-painting; if you need exact repetition, say so and we assign one artist to your line.
Can I put my own artwork on the set?
Yes — that is what the custom path is for. Send vector or high-resolution artwork plus the shape and length you sell, and we quote per design per size run.
